First of all I have to confess that I haven't finished the challenge to go through all the paper in my household. The first area I tackled is the area right next to what we affectionately call "the trash cupboard" this is where our junk mail accumulates. Next was the area next to my
recipe box where various recipes and often pictures and things similar in size to recipes accumulates and finally I'm tackling the desk in our office that gets all of the rest of the paper. The first two projects are complete. The desk will need more TLC tomorrow but I'll post my before and after pictures of the first two areas and my before picture of the desk now.
Incidentally, actually taking a picture of an area is a very good exercise for me for a couple of reasons: 1) pictures don't lie! Honestly these areas looked even junkier in the picture than they did in real life. I guess its the clutter equivalent to "the camera adds 10 lbs". 2) I'm not good at comparing things visually from one time to the next. So, if you go on a diet don't expect me to notice every time I see you how dramatically different you look.3) I actually feel like I'm accomplishing something!
